Pete LoDico, President
As an Executive Director for USDA Farm Service Agency (counties of Charlevoix, Clinton, and Midland, Michigan), Pete has 30 years experience with building project development. He is currently retired from USDA and works as a community volunteer. Pete serves as a director for the Beaver Island Boat Company and the Beaver Island Rural Health Center.

Pete has dedicated himself to the Beaver Island Supportive Housing Concept since 1999.

Nina Simpson-Jones, Secretary
Nina holds both a bachelor degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida and a master's degree in Social Work (Mental Health, Administration) from San Diego State University. Nina's work experience includes 12 years working in the mental health field with emphasis on sub-acute psychiatric care for adults and seniors.

Currently, Nina is the co-owner of Nina's Restaurant and the Beaver Island Lodge, Beaver Island, Michigan.

Don Spencer, Officer
Don and his wife Barbara have been full time residents of Beaver Island for the past ten years. Prior to retirement, Don was engaged in the Management Consulting profession for 27 years. Today Don is a trustee of the Charlevoix County Community Foundation and he is also an officer of the Beaver Island Rural Health Center Board of Directors.

Sandra Birdsall, Treasurer
Sandra Birdsall retired from the practice of law in 2007 and is now a full-time resident of Beaver Island. A graduate with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of law, she practiced in Peroia, Illinois as a partner in the firm of Hasselberg, Williams, Grebe, Snodgrass, and Birdsall. Her practice was concentrated in the area of real estate and development law. Prior to joining the Hasselberg firm she was in-house counsel for a major real estate developer and Vice-President of Development. She has experience in commercial shopping center and office development, supportive multi-family housing for low-income women, senior housing, tax credit senior programs, and single family developments. She closed loans ranging from $1 million dollars to $45 million dollars. Birdsall has also been active in community activities and served in the following positions: Mayor of Roselle, Illinois for 8 years, President of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, and Chair of the Peoria Plan Commission.
